Ramen Noodles
Description
Sadly in the US they just don't sell plain ramen noodles. So rather than washing some of the 10 cent ones from the grocery store off we tried making our own.
Ingredients
| 400 | g | Bread Flour |
| 150 | ml | Water |
| 1 | T | Salt |
| 1 | t | Baking Soda |
| 1 | egg(s) |
Instructions
1. Mix wet ingredients into a mixing cup.
2. Mix dry ingredients into a bowl
3. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir in until small balls are formed.
4. Form one big ball out of small balls and put it in two ziplock bags. Flatten repeatedly by pressing down with feet. Refold into quarters and keep pressing. Repeat ~ 10 times.
5. Round back into a ball and let sit at room temperature for ~ 2 hours.
6. Roll out using a pasta machine set at 5 or 6. If you want them to look 'crinkly' bunch them up in your hands.
7. Cook in boiling water 1-2 minutes till cooked.
